Lobsang Woesar ~ Dolma

Lobsang Woesar ~ Dolma, the Buddhist name given by Tulku Lobsang Rinpoche upon her acceptance as a student and taking refuge, is a Yoga and Tibetan Singing Bowl teacher and trainer. She has over 2,140 hours of ongoing training and has been teaching Yoga for over 10 years, with over 8,500 hours of teaching experience, including group classes, individual lessons, and Yoga Therapy sessions.

A former hospital technician in Hyperbaric Medicine at the San Francesco e Ruggi d'Aragona University Hospital in Salerno, she initially trained in South Africa, where, from 2012 to 2016, she studied Hatha Yoga in its most orthodox form with the Indian community of Stanger, KwaZulu Natal. She completed Yoga training in Italy at Asia Darshana, the International Academy for Advanced Training in Yoga and Ayurveda Teachers, with Master Marilena Capuzzimati.

She is certified in Hatha Yoga, Kashmiri Non-Dual Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Trauma Informed Yoga Support Specialist, Yoga Therapy, Krya and Tantra Yoga, and Yoga for Children. She is a teacher and teacher trainer at Lu Jong, where she trained with Nangten Menlang International under the guidance of Master Inma Vicente and was accepted as a student by Tulku Lobsang Rinpoche.

She trained in the use of Tibetan Singing Bowls with Dam Chooi Lama over a five-year course, following the Sound Healing Therapy tradition of the Himalayan Ngakpa School, deepening her knowledge of their use and benefits, including through research collaborations.

She also trains Tibetan Singing Bowl Operators. She is a first-level technician for the Italian Gymnastics Federation (Federaginnastica) and CONI (Italian National Olympic Committee). She is trained in neuromotricity using the BAPNE method developed by Ph.D. Francisco Javier Romero-Naranjo.

In 2019, she founded the Buddha Center for Medicine, Yoga & Music Therapy, with the aim of promoting yoga in its various forms, according to the most orthodox forms, respectful of its original culture and tradition, preserving this precious science from Western influences.

Over the years, she has collaborated with shelters and protection centers for women victims of abuse and with oncology and diabetes departments, experimenting with the use of Tibetan Singing Bowls in therapeutic progress. She collaborates, as a trainer in specific modules, with yoga teacher training institutes. She has taught courses on stress management and decompression resulting from operational functions for professionals in the areas of emergency medicine and intensive and short-term intensive care.

M° Rosella Pezzuti

Born in Caracas, she completed her musical studies at the José Angel Lamas School of Music in Caracas, graduating in piano in 1986. She studied chamber music with Lina Parenti, composition with her father Tiero Pezzuti and Spanish maestro Francisco Rodrigo, and choral conducting with Felipe Izcaray. 

In 1991, she earned a degree in Arts, majoring in Music, from the Central University of Venezuela. In 1998, she completed a master's degree in Educational Management from the Andrés Bello Catholic University in Caracas, and in 2002, she earned a Diploma of Advanced Studies for the Doctorate in Educational Research from the Complutense University of Madrid. Since 1985, she has taught Theory and Solfeggio, Piano, and Chamber Music at various schools and conservatories in Caracas. 

From 1990 to 2000, she was a founding member of the "Teresa Carreño" Piano Duo and the "Tiero Pezzuti" Trio. From 1990 to 1992, she was director of the Flor Roffé Children's Choir and the Experimental Choir of the Faculty of Arts at the Central University of Venezuela. In 1996, she was vice-director of the "José Angel Lamas" Higher School of Music in Caracas. 

In 1997, she became director of the Lino Gallardo School of Music in Caracas until 1999. That same year, she was appointed Coordinator of the Board of Directors of Music Schools (CODEM). From 1999 to 2000, she was appointed Division Head of the Teacher Support Office of the National Council of Culture in Caracas.

She currently teaches music at the schools of Fontecchio, Fossa, Ocre, and Secinaro. Following in the footsteps of her father, Tiero, in 2003 she helped refound the Villa Sant'Angelo Choir of the VillaNet Cultural Association, and since 2006 she has been the director of cantAbruzzo. 

In 2004, in a piano duet concert at the Gemelli Hospital in Rome, she performed the music of her father, Maestro Tiero Pezzuti, and Venezuelan composer Alexis Rago, who has lived in London for over twenty years, as part of the "Musiche del Mondo" festival.
Since 2004, she has been the Councilor for Culture and Social Affairs of Villa Sant'Angelo (AQ).

Tulku Lobsang Rinpoche

Tulku Lobsang Rinpoche is a high Buddhist master and teacher. Born in Amdo, northeastern Tibet, Tulku-la was recognized at the age of 13 as the eighth reincarnation of the Nyentse Lama. Rinpoche bases his teachings on the ancient knowledge of Tantrayana, the foundation of both Tibetan Buddhism and Tibetan medicine. Tulku-la travels throughout Europe, America, and Asia, sharing his profound knowledge of this precious wisdom. Tulku Lobsang Rinpoche's teachings are characterized by his gentle, humorous, and kind-hearted nature. Rinpoche bridges worlds and translates the ancient wisdom of his venerable lineage into practical advice for the modern day. Tulku-la's greatest desire is to reduce suffering in the world by sharing this profound treasure of wisdom. Rinpoche's traditional background and direct, charismatic style make him a wonderful and wise teacher.

Dam Chhoi Lama

Dam Chhoi Lamais a Tibetan Buddhist monk, a thangka artist, and an art teacher. He is a profound expert in Eastern philosophies, religions, and cultures, a yoga and meditation master, and is knowledgeable in Tibetan and Indian Ayurvedic medicine. He remained at the monastery from 1966 to 1976, and in addition to the religious teachings he learned there, Dam Chhoi Lama also attended an ancient school of Himalayan painting in Kathmandu. He has been painting thangkas for 25 years. In 1997, he registered his private school in Kathmandu, under the name "Himalayan Painting Mandala School," which is now located in Boudhanat (near the famous Stupa), where eight boy-monk painters live, study, and work. He left his religious robes in 1976, he is now a public monk and his mission is to teach and practice what he has learned during his life of studies and experiences, to ensure that everyone can know Tibetan culture and the art of Thangka.

Ghesce Dorjee Wangchuk

Geshe Dorjee Wangchuck was born on June 15, 1966, in Bhutan, a country located between Tibet and India. At the age of 10, he entered a monastery called Rigsum in eastern Bhutan, where he began his Buddhist studies and an eight-year training in Tibetan medicine. In 1985, he entered the Gaden Jangtse Monastery in Mundgod, Karnataka, southern India, where he studied Buddhist philosophy, arts, and rituals for 20 years, earning the title of Geshe in 2004. He subsequently entered the Gyudmed Tantric Monastery, successfully completing his tantric studies and earning the title of Ngarampa in 2006. Alongside his monastic training, he received numerous Buddhist teachings from various teachers from all schools of Tibetan Buddhism. Throughout his religious training, he practiced as a therapist, treating thousands of patients at home and abroad. 

For nine years, he served as director and physician of the Tibetan Medical Center at Gaden Jangtse Monastery in India.

M° Tiero Pezzuti

Tiero Pezzutiwas born on September 6, 1925, in Villa S. Angelo, a charming village in the middle Aterno Valley, now devastated by the earthquake. Trained under the guidance of his father Francesco and, above all, Mario Guidobaldi, his first music teacher, he immediately joined his town's "Youth Band" as a trumpet player. At 14, he already distinguished himself as an organist, and at 18, he began directing the band and the 80-piece choir. In 1949, he emigrated to Venezuela. In 1955, he joined the "Banda Marcial Caracas" of the Municipal Police as an arranger, a position he has held ever since. In 1960, he won the competition sponsored by the Municipal Council of the Venezuelan capital with his "Marcia a Caracas," which later became the "Hymn of Caracas." The award opened the doors to the "José Angel Lamas" Higher School of Music, directed by the distinguished Vicente Emilio Sojo, who admitted him to the chair of Composition. Pezzuti's mentors and teachers, in addition to Sojo, included Juan B. Plaza, Eduardo Plaza, Paul Manelsky, and Evencio Castellanos, with whom he completed his composition studies in 1969. In addition to winning the Municipal Council competition in 1960, which he won again in 1971 and 1972, in 1969 Tiero Pezzuti also won the music competition to compose the anthem of the Merchant Naval School of Venezuela, receiving the title of "Marino Honorario."

M° Felipe Izcaray

Maestro Felipe Izcaray is currently Artistic Director of the Sistema Nacional de Orquestas y Choros Juveniles e Infantiles in Carora, Venezuela, after having owned the Orquesta Sinfonica del Estado Nueva Esparta on Isla de Margarita for four years. He is also Honorary Conductor and Founder of the Salta Symphony Orchestra, Argentina, where he developed a significant and recognized program between 2001 and 2006, both within and outside the province, leading the orchestra to quickly win the "Best Argentine Orchestra of 2004" award, sponsored by the Association of Music Critics of the Argentine Republic. Between 2007 and 2009, he retired as the committee and general government coordinator for the development of the Salta Provincial Red Orchestra of Youth and Children's Orchestras, also serving as a frequent guest conductor of orchestras from various countries.

M° Francisco Rodrigo Arto

He began studying music at the Victoria Eugenia Conservatory in Granada. In 1964, he moved to Venezuela, where he resumed his musical studies with Vicente Emilio Sojo. He acquired Venezuelan nationality in 1967. He obtained the title of master composer in 1971, after completing his studies at the José Ángel Lamas Higher School of Music. He furthered his education by taking courses in orchestral and choral conducting with Gonzalo Castellanos and composition with teachers such as Alberto Ginastera.
Francisco Rodrigo is an extremely prolific composer, with more than 1,200 compositions in all musical genres, most of them religious, where his work as choirmaster and composer at the Sanctuary of San Judas Tadeo, the Church of San José de Chacao, and the Caracas Cathedral undoubtedly plays a key role.
In 1968, Francisco Rodrigo replaced Vicente Emilio Sojo as professor of Counterpoint and Fugue at the José Ángel Lamas School of Music, a post he held for thirty-five years. Between 1967 and 1968, he taught at Santiago Key Ayala High School and at the University Institute of Musical Studies (IUDEM), where he taught Fugue and Musical Composition.
His work has received numerous awards, including several national prizes. He has also received eleven municipal prizes, as well as other awards and honorable mentions.
His work includes compositions for orchestra, orchestra and soloist, orchestra and choir, choir (both religious and secular), voice and instrumental ensemble, voice and piano, instrumental ensemble, harp, guitar, organ, piano, and other instruments.
The Francisco Rodrigo collection was donated to the General Archive of Navarre in 2017.
